Safe water and basic sanitation reaches two million Peruvian citizens in the poorest rural areas. SABA, has supported the implementation of almost 1700 water and sanitation projects in the rural areas of the countries during the last two decades of the Project.
Since 2011, Switzerland has contributed, through the Glaciares Project, to improving the adaptation capacity based on the community, local disaster risk management, and seizing of opportunities related to glacier retreat.
Through our publications we share the knowledge and experiences we have gained from the different projects we have been promoting through Programas Globales de los Andes (Global Andean Programs) on water and climate change.
The Ministry of Culture and the Public Management Secretariat of the Prime Minister?s Office awarded a certificate to the Peruvian National Weather and Hydrological Service (SENAMHI) in recognition of their initiative submitted as Good Intercultural Practice.
Knowledge networks SDC funtion as professional communities that provide basic services for members and help them become a more valuable sorce of knowledge and experience with development.
The book includes 75 new tree species from rural parishes and natural forests of the capital city.
